New Morning School serves students Preschool through 8th Grade

A cooperative school with a student-centered environment that embraces parental engagement.

The goal of education is not to increase the amount of knowledge but to create the possibilities for a child to invent and discover, to create [people] who are capable of doing new things.

Our Mission

At New Morning School we create a community.

We show respect for each other and work together to solve problems.

Together we shape students’ integrity, commitment, and responsibility.

We engage students individually, focusing on the abilities and interests of each child to create critical thinkers and creative problem solvers to prepare them to make a positive change in the world.

Our Values

Be Kind – Everyone does the best that they can with the resources that they have. Start
with that and show kindness throughout your day.

Show Respect – We start by respecting children and through our actions, students will
respect adults as well.

Practice Teamwork – Have a vision, share it with others, and the outcome will be better
accomplished by the team.

Act with Perseverance – By holding onto the goals that you make and breaking them into
steps, you will reach your vision.

Value Lifelong Learning – Instead of learning what to learn, learn how to learn and you
will learn for a lifetime.

Embrace Equity and Inclusion – We celebrate and respect our similarities and differences;
we work to provide equal growth opportunities to every one of us.
