What are the spending priorities for Annual Fund?

New Morning School's Annual Fund helps to sustain the school's day-to-day operating costs, in addition to supporting enhancements that provide a more enriching educational experience for our students.  These enhancements include:

• Hands-on learning classroom manipulatives that encourage individual development, critical thinking, and problem-solving
• Technology upgrades in the form of computers, web cams, CDs, and other equipment that help push learning to new levels and help students master technological skills
• Multi-sensory, interactive science and mathematics classroom tools such as microscopes and geometry cubes that spark curiosity and engage student interest
• Workshops and training for teachers and staff to keep up to date on the latest brain research that can be applied in the classroom
• Playground equipment to increase opportunities for physical exercise
• Capital improvements that provide an improved learning environment for our students
• Scholarships and academic program opportunities
