Guests enjoyed an elegant meal, exciting silent and live auction items, and visited the Speakeasy, a room evocative of the secret drink halls of the Prohibition. We have come a long way from our very first auction in 1976. Proceeds from the auction now make up over 20% of our operating fund, enabling us to keep tuition more affordable. Last year's auction attracted 500 guests and raised over $109,000 to support the education of our children. We are very grateful to our 2008 Auction Sponsors. We need your help securing donations from our wish list. Find out what items we need most. Items for the auction are donated by businesses and individuals dedicated to quality education. The auction gives donors the chance to reach a select group of people. Auction guests who support New Morning School also patronize the businesses that support the school. This gives donors visibility while providing critically needed dollars for the education of our children. Each donor is included in the program, as well as in a printed business directory distributed to each family after the auction. All auction donations are tax deductible to the full extent of the law.
