EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR ELAINE KENNEDY SELECTED AS A 
JAPAN FULBRIGHT MEMORIAL SCHOLAR

New Morning School is proud to announce that our Executive Director, Elaine Kennedy, was selected by the Institute for International Education as one of several hundred educators nationwide who spent three weeks in Japan as a part of the Japan Fulbright Memorial Fund Teacher Program .  Congratulations to Elaine Kennedy on this prestigious accomplishment. 

Elaine spent three weeks in Japan. While there, she learned about Japanese culture, history and education. She had the opportunity to visit different parts of the country and to visit several Japanese schools. Upon her return, Elaine presented the details of her trip to the New Morning School students, their parents, and various community groups.
