KINDERGARTEN

• Maximum class size: 12 students with one teacher, as well as parent aides.
• School hours: 8:40 a.m. - 3:25 p.m. for full day kindergarten, 8:40 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. for morning kindergarten, or 12:30 - 3:25 p.m. for afternoon kindergarten 

New Morning School's kindergarten class is designed to meet the needs of the young child.  Because the program is geared to the individual student, it meets the varying social and academic needs of this age group.  The curriculum meets all criteria set by the Michigan State Department of Education.  

Like all of our programs, kindergarten instruction is based on Piaget's theories of learning as well as the most recent brain research .
